The CyberAId project recently participated in the 16th AI Connected World 2026 event in Athens, organized by Smartpress, contributing to the panel discussion “Cyber Resilience: Protecting Intelligent Infrastructure.”

During the panel, Christos-Antonios Gizelis presented the vision of the Cyber Resilience Synergy Network (CRSN) Alliance, an initiative that brings together organizations, research centers, industry stakeholders, and cybersecurity experts to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation in cyber resilience.

The session was moderated by Thanassis Staveris, CEO of Tools of Technology, and featured Lampros Katsonis, Solutions Director at Guardbyte, and Nikos Lianos, Cyber Security Account Executive at Cisco Hellas.

The discussion focused on one of the most pressing challenges of the digital era: strengthening cyber resilience across critical infrastructures and strategic sectors. Participants explored the importance of building trusted partnerships and collaborative ecosystems to address evolving cyber threats, while highlighting the role of cooperation between industry, research, and cybersecurity communities.

The panel also examined how Artificial Intelligence can support threat detection, enhance situational awareness, and improve incident response capabilities. In addition, participants discussed the importance of strengthening cyber resilience through training, skills development, and capacity-building initiatives, as well as supporting organizations in navigating the evolving European cybersecurity and digital resilience landscape.

A key message emerging from the discussion was that the future of cybersecurity will depend not only on technology, but also on the ability of organizations to work together across sectors, disciplines, and borders. Initiatives such as the CRSN Alliance demonstrate the value of collective action in building a more secure and resilient digital Europe.
