The CyberAId project recently participated in the 2nd AI in Financial Services Conference 2026, held on 8 July 2026 in Athens, Greece.

The conference brought together approximately 150–200 participants from the financial, cybersecurity, legal, and research communities to discuss the evolving role of artificial intelligence in financial services. CyberAId was showcased through an Academic Keynote Address and Panel Discussion, focusing on key challenges including AI-driven identity threats, deepfakes, fraud, agentic AI risks, and financial-sector cybersecurity.

The discussions highlighted CyberAId’s relevance to AI-enabled cyber-resilience for financial services, including contextual threat analysis, identity-related risk, regulatory alignment, and the need for integrated, AI-assisted cybersecurity capabilities.

Through its participation, CyberAId had the opportunity to engage with conference participants and experts from the cybersecurity, legal, and financial-services domains, supporting the dissemination of the project’s work and strengthening awareness of its contribution to addressing emerging cybersecurity challenges in AI-enabled financial environments.
