The scientific workshop, co-organised by InQbit Innovations, brought together approximately 70–80 participants from research and industry to discuss advances in secure, privacy-preserving, and trustworthy artificial intelligence. The workshop focused on emerging technologies and solutions for next-generation cyber-resilient architectures, addressing topics including advanced cyber-defence strategies, large-scale data analytics and data fusion, secure protocols and services, adversarial robustness, federated learning, confidential computation, differential privacy, trustworthy AI deployment, and privacy-enhancing technologies for IoT and cyber-physical systems.

In addition to technical developments, IWAPS 2026 highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary approaches, bringing together perspectives from technology, policy, regulation, ethics, human-centred security, and societal impact. These discussions contributed to a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in developing secure and trustworthy AI systems.

Through its participation, CyberAId had the opportunity to engage with the international research community, exchange knowledge and perspectives, and increase awareness of the project’s work in cybersecurity, privacy, and trustworthy AI. The event also provided a valuable platform for networking and strengthening connections with researchers and practitioners working towards more secure and resilient AI-enabled systems.
